If you own a car, you will need a competent mechanic you can trust at some point. Look no further than Nate at Apex. When my son took his car back to Dayton we started asking around for suggestions on a mechanic. Always a good idea to figure out where you will take your car before it needs something. Apex and Nate got some glowing reviews from people we knew who had taken their cars in for service. We had the car in for something minor, which Nate didn’t even charge us for. Then recently the car broke down out of town and I had it towed back to Dayton because I wanted it fixed by someone I trusted. Nate had great communication throughout. Contacted me when the car was dropped off, quickly had a diagnosis/estimate, and took the time to answer every question. He replies to texts and returns calls promptly. He uses OEM parts and warranties his work. Having to spend money on an unexpected car repair is never fun. But when it does happen take your car to Nate. He will do what needs to be done, with quality parts, not push any extra unneeded services, and stand by his work. He’s that highly competent mechanic you can trust that everyone needs.

I recently took my 2013 650 xi to Apex Precision Import Repairs for a diagnostic, expecting the worst—a potential timing chain replacement. To my surprise and relief, they gave me great news! They identified the exact issue quickly and saved me from an expensive repair. Not only did they complete the diagnostic in just an hour and a half (when they originally estimated two days), but they also lowered the price for me since the work required was minimal. Honest assessment and service above and beyond! Sent my college student to Apez Precision to have the college car looked at. I have had two great experiences with Nate and Apex. After being ripped off by a local franchised garage, I was connected to Nate through a Dayton U parent page on Facebook. The repair that another garage says I needed was indeed not needed as Nate fully inspected what was supposedly needed. My hands are a bit tied as my daughter has our van in Dayton and I have to just trust what I’m being told for repairs/maintenance. Nate saved me hundred there. Most recently there was an oil leak and Nate discovered some other issues that need attention soon but the van is ok to drive until I decide what to do. He made sure the oil was topped off and van is ready to go for the time being. I will def be back for some repairs as my daughter is only a junior. He is a true gentleman Dayton U loyalist offering a 10% discount for Dayton students/grads. Thank you Nate.

Honestly cannot say enough positive things about Nate and Apex! My son is a student at Dayton, our car would not start so, we had it towed to Apex. Nate was absolutely awesome! This car was pretty modified before it got to Apex, some things are done well and some things not so well... I asked Apex to go through the car and check everything out and he did an awesome job updating me and giving me options on how to proceed. There was no pressure to add work or buy more parts, just the facts and options on how to proceed. I will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

Daughter is a UD student. She hit a pothole and did some minor damage. Nate went above and beyond. Fixed the damage, checked all her fluids , changed the oil that was past due and found a nail in her tire. Excellent service. Highly recommend Apex Precision Auto Repair!!

I cannot recommend Nate and the rest of the team at Apex Precision enough. I know it is hard for many people to trust mechanics nowadays but these guys are the most up front and professional people in the business that I have ever dealt with. Nate and his team will give you the best quality of work while also working with you to fit your budget. They recently repaired my 1999 Jeep Wrangler and my vehicle is driving like I went back in time and drove it off the lot in 99. Again the Quality of work and the speed it was done, in addition to the price, you will not find anyone else better in the 937 area code. I will only be using Apex for any car repair I have in the future.

Had starter replaced on my 2009 Lexus rx350. Also diagnostics on the engine after a very bad encounter and bad service with Jamie's service on N. Dixie Dr. Nate was recomended to.by another with an Asian built auto and treats thier car like a personal classic. His shop did a great job replcing the starter, wgeel.bearing assembly, engine dx, plugs, boots, vave cover gaskets. Also he uncovered and repaired quite a few mounts and brackets not replaced from Jamies tire service. Nate does a great job in explaining the function of system thats in need, what hes found and what gge repair will intail. My service needs were fairly extensive. Nate took the time to go through the engine co.partment and show me what he could with explaination. Ive also had him work on a 2015 lexus rx350 for coolant system flush and a complete car inspection and test drive to determine what if anything the car would need to keep 3-5 years as daily driver. He gave me a great 6 page report sone good some not so good, but all well and explained from hands on perspective. I dont typically recomend auto service providers . but, i do recomend taking your import car there for diagnostics and if you feel comfortable then work with them. I will be back as needed.

As a current UD student, Apex Precision Auto Repair was so easy to work with. I called initially, asking for an estimated price, which they gave me right away.
